Meet The Instructors at the Traditional Karate Center

 

Sensei Ramon Veras has dedicated over 30 years of his life to the practice, competition, and research in the martial art, and is one of the highest ranked instructors in the Goju-Ryu organization in the United States. He was certified as a 6th degree black belt in Okinawa by the Jundokan founder, Master Eiichi Miyazato,10th dan in Goju-Ryu. He is the Chairman of the Texas Goju-Ryu Karate-do Association, the Texas USA National Karate-do Federation, and Chief Instructor at the Traditional Karate Center. Mr. Veras is an accomplished competitor with several national and international titles. Mr. Veras teaches karate seminar in USA, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Panama, and Puerto Rico as one of the technical Director of the Pan-American Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Federation, a branch member of the Okinawan Jundo kan. Mr. Veras is a member of the USANKF Goju-Ryu subcommittee and is a certified referee in kata and kumite .

   

Mr. Alex Ndam is one of the World top fighters in the World Karate Federation. He has competed for the French National Team and for his native Country Cameron in the World Karate Championship. He is a dynamic and very charismatic karate instructor that pushes students to bring out the best in themselves. Alex has participated in several World Championship including the last one in Germany.Hhopefully he will become a World Champion the near future.

   

Sensei Laiani Kuspa has studied several styles of martial arts over the last 2o years. She and four of her children have train with sensei Veras for over 6 years; three of children have earn their black belts at the Traditional Karate Center. Three of her children are state and national champions in the USA National Karate Federation.
Laiani earned a silver medal in Kata at Pan-American Goju-Ryu Championship 1998 in the Dominican Republic.

She has two master degrees from the Stanford University; one Curriculum development and another in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in motivational achievement. She is a home school and loves teaching children.

   
   
Gabriel Veras

Gabriel Veras has trained at the Traditional Karate Center since he was four years old with his father Sensei Ramon Veras. He has competed successfully in the USA National karate-Do Federation since 1995 with earning States and National Championships. He is a freshman at Clements high school, plays baseball, and has interest in Video production.
