Our objective at the Traditional Karate Center is to provide professional and top-quality Karate instruction to the public by sharing many years of training, research, and experience in the art Goju-Ryu Karate-do. Our Dojo is link to the deep tradition of Jundo-kan formerly under the auspices of the late Eiichi Miyazato, founder of the Jundokan. now under the new associated with Japan Karate-do federation GojuKai. Our main purpose is to further develop ourselves and our students in the discipline of Goju-Ryu Karate-do and pass the strong tradition of our style to the local community. We believe strongly that Goju-Ryu can enhance peoples lives by improving their self-esteem, self-confidence, physical fitness, building character, and developing self-defense skills.

The Traditional Karate Center has been established in the Houston and Sugar land area since 1985. We our proud to be a member and representative of the Japan Karate-do Federation Gojukai, and the United States National Karate-do Federation (USANKF). The USANKF is the National Governing Body for Karate under the United States Olympic Committee. The Traditional Karate Center also serves as the headquarters for The Texas Goju-Ryu Association, JKF GojuKai Texas's Branch and The Pan-American Okinawan Goju-Ryu Federation.
